Simply access a secure website and complete your Medical Passport (demographic, insurance and medical history). The completed medical history will be automatically formatted into comprehensive Operating Room forms.

It can be unnerving to share the entirety of your medical history with anyone, even a recognized facility like ours. Rest assured, your personal information and patient data are protected according to all federal HIPAA laws and regulations.
Please bring a photo ID, such as a driver's license or government-issued ID card, as well as your most current insurance or Medicare card. Upon receipt of your insurance information, Surgery Center of Pinehurst will verify your primary and secondary insurance carriers or government agency directly for surgery center services.
Please be aware of your insurance plan's policy on admission requirements, such as pre-authorization. You or your physician may have to adhere to certain requirements in order to ensure maximum reimbursement from your insurance carrier(s).
Failure to obtain pre authorization, physician referral, or a second opinion may greatly reduce or eliminate your insurance benefits.

However, be advised that making an online payment does not immediately change any disposition related to your account. Any payment made after normal business hours will not be posted until the next business day. We reserve the right to decline an online payment if your account is in default for any reason. In addition to printing your receipt, we encourage you to verify with us by phone or email that that your payment has posted, particularly if your payment is made after normal business hours. Surgery Center of Pinehurst fees cover only the use of the facility, and do not include laboratory, pathology, surgeon, anesthesiologist or certified nurse anesthetist fees, nor does it include the cost of any implants used for your surgery. You will be billed separately for these fees.
Please let us know prior to your surgery if you need help making special financial arrangements; we're happy to discuss alternative payment methods with you.
Surgery Center of Pinehurst welcomes Medicare beneficiaries for treatment; we are Medicare certified and comply with all specified physical plant, staffing, safety and governance standards.
